Queensland–Cooper Hewitt Fellowships Program

The Queensland–Cooper Hewitt Fellowships Program supports a registered Queensland school teacher to visit the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York to gain experience in classroom, community and online strategies for delivering quality design education.

What’s important

Due to global travel restrictions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic the current funding round for 2020 has been cancelled. The program is also suspended until further notice.

In response to this, we are virtually connecting with the Smithsonian Institution through the Queensland–Smithsonian Speaker Series.
