Centre for Information Resilience (CIRES)

The University of Queensland

CIRES is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Industrial Transformation Training Centre with a research program that capitalizes on the diversity of the research team across technology, business and social dimensions to deliver authentic transformational outcomes for our industry and government partners. The Centre is building workforce capacity in Australian organisations to create, protect and sustain agile data pipelines, capable of detecting and responding to failures and risks across the information value chain in which the data is sourced, shared, transformed, analysed, and consumed. The five interrelated research themes of the centre are: agility in value creation from data; data curation at scale; algorithmic transparency; trusted data partnerships; and responsible use of data assets.
