Centre for Sustainable Tropical Fisheries and Aquaculture (CSTFA)

James Cook University

CSTFA brings together a multidisciplinary team organised into 3 main Research Themes: aquatic food security and safety, novel aquatic products and applications, and human dimensions of aquatic resources and production. CSTFA aims to improve biological understanding of aquatic resources, through examination of the human systems that produce and consume aquatic food resources, and by restoring already degraded systems to re-establish their production potential.
