The Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research focuses on restoring motor and sensory function to badly injured people. The researchers within the Centre are developing therapies to treat acquired brain injury and spinal cord paralysis. With the support of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, a Phase IIa clinical trial to repair the injured spinal cord is planned to commence in late 2018.
