Grappling with many of the most complex questions of our time, interdisciplinary artistic approaches can offer new innovative solutions and creative pathways forward. The Creative Arts Research Institute brings together researchers across film, gaming, animation, music, visual arts, design and everything in between, to produce a truly interdisciplinary creative arts research. Researchers are based at the Queensland Conservatorium, Queensland College of Art, and the Griffith Film School. Queensland Conservatorium is one of Australia’s leading music schools and undertakes leading-edge research that tackles the complex and multi-faceted role that music plays in contemporary society. The Queensland College of Art research explores new creative modes, images and forms for understanding contemporary experience.
