The Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation works to enhance the health and wellbeing of veterans, their families and the broader Australian community through the highest quality research. The research spans from laboratory basic science research in liver disease, respiratory disease and liver cancer to research into the understanding the comorbidities and genetics of PTSD. GMRF also leads the way in psychosocial research in veteran health and wellbeing and clinical trials. GMRF has a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to translating research outcomes into real world treatments and interventions. GMRF is recognised as a leader in its fields of endeavour.

- Associate Professor Victoria Atkinson—A/Prof Atkinson’s is an expert in Melanoma Oncology. She has extensive experience in clinical trials, targeted agents and immunotherapies.
