The Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) provides geoscience and resource information to improve the understanding of the geology and minerals and energy resource potential of Queensland, and promotes the geoscientific data and exploration potential to attract investment. The GSQ was founded in 1868 and as such is one of the longest established government agency's in Queensland.
