The Prince Charles Hospital is the leading cardiothoracic hospital in Australia. The Prince Charles Hospital is involved in numerous national and international research trials and projects. We conduct leading clinical and translational research programs, particularly in the fields of cardiac thoracic medicine and surgery, critical care and orthopaedics. We have strong partnerships with The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and The Australian Catholic University. The Prince Charles Hospital includes the Cardiology Clinical Research Centre - one of the leading sites in Australia for coordinating and conducting clinical trials and investigator initiated research. The research hospital as over 15 specialised clinical research groups such as the Anaesthesia Research Group that is involved in high quality national and international multicentre projects.
