ARC Research Hub for Driving Farming Productivity and Disease Prevention

Griffith University, Other Australian Universities

The research at the Hub drives farm productivity and improves disease prevention by advancing and transferring new artificial intelligence technologies into use on farms and farm production. We bring together world-leading capabilities in machine vision, machine learning, software quality control, engineering, biology, and farm production to build more intelligent AI informed production systems. The Hub's research focuses upon technological and translational research in areas such as: computer vision and machine learning for object detection and recognition in cluttered environments; big data analytics techniques for video processing and time series analysis; early detection of disease and pest in production environment and automatic product grading and harvesting.
