The Australian Translational Genomics Centre provides clinicians treating cancer patients with advanced genetic information addressing the underlying causes of tumour development, predicted outcomes and personalised treatment avenues. ATGC research programs include: statistical investigation of immune cell interactions in cervical cancer; modern genomics in the management of lung cancer; the role of the gut microbiome in immune-mediated disease; and assessing the clinical utility and cost-effectiveness of comprehensive genomic profiling in cancer care.
