Griffith University

The centre combines science, innovation and local Australian experience to expand knowledge through fundamental research, developing solutions that will facilitate clean, resilient and sustainable futures for Australian and global environments. Bringing together committed and outstanding researchers, our research addresses key environmental priorities that reflect critical global issues, and identifies niche markets and research gaps in the current market place. The Food Futures research group aims to inform practice change and policy for improved yield, quality, sustainability and resilience of our food production systems. The Research at the Planetary Health group focuses upon patterns, causes and measurement of changes in ecosystems to better understand our biological environment and improve its management to ensure that human health and wellbeing is maintained in the future.
