Murtupuni Centre for Rural and Remote Health (MCRRH) uses through rural health and workforce research, capacity building and knowledge translation to develop the evidence based for best practive rural and remote health care. Research projects include: increasing the postpartum screening for women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and Diabetes in pregnancy living in rural and remote areas; and codesigned community rehabilitation services; self-directed upper limb rehabilitation in stroke survivors. Researcher a Murtupuni are Chief Investigators on two NHMRC program grant: Women’s Action for Mums and Bubs (WOMB) program; and Strengthening systems for indigenous health care equity (STRIDE).
