The Queensland Academy of Sport conducts a wide range of basic and applied research and communicates research results to assist in the development of elite Queensland athletes, teams, and coaches. We are particularly focused on research that support our Olympic-level athletes as Queensland prepares to host the 2032 Olympic Games. Research support is provided at an institutional level through project, fellowship and scholarship support. The Academy' sport science encompasses a wide range of disciplines such as biomechanics, engineering, medicine, nutrition, physiology, physiotherapy, psychology and management.
