The Queensland Bioscience Precinct, a world-class research facility, houses up to 750 research and support staff. The Precinct is the largest research facility in Australia dedicated to human, plant and animal biotechnological research and commercialisation. The Precinct includes the Institute for Molecular Bioscience , the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), and the CSIRO Agriculture and Food and Oceans and Atmosphere Business Units.
