Queensland Digital Health Centre (QDHeC)
Centre for Health Services Research, The University of Queensland
The Queensland Digital Health Centre (QDHeC) is leading digital health research at The University of Queensland to accelerate translation of research into improved health outcomes.
QDHeC has recruited internationally recognised researchers in a range of disciplines including digital health, clinical informatics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum physics, engineering, business and medicine.
Researchers are working to address siloed health data systems which impact the care continuum, preventing large-scale research efforts.
The centre has been established to pioneer healthcare step change and to build smart health systems, where data generated during a patient episode will inform subsequent care.
QDHeC is collaborating with government, industry and consumers through:
- Networking and knowledge sharing
- Infrastructure development
- Collaborative research projects and grants
- Data sharing and access projects.
